The peer review process at Research in Teaching Persian Language and Literature (affiliated with Farhangian University) is designed to ensure the academic quality, ethical integrity, and timely evaluation of all submitted manuscripts.
The process includes the following stages:
The review process begins when the author submits the manuscript through the journal’s online submission system.
All required files must be uploaded according to the journal’s author guidelines.
⏱ Maximum duration: 15 days.
After submission, the Editor-in-Chief (in cooperation with the journal’s editorial officer) performs an initial review to verify the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s scope, scientific structure, originality, and compliance with publication policies.
If the manuscript fails to meet these criteria, the author will be notified, and the paper will be rejected at this stage.
⏱ Maximum duration: 10 days.
If the manuscript passes the preliminary screening, it is discussed in the Editorial Board meeting, where at least two qualified reviewers are appointed to evaluate its scholarly merit.
The journal’s editorial officer sends the manuscript to the assigned reviewers for an in-depth evaluation focusing on originality, innovation, methodology, and academic rigor.
⏱ Maximum duration: 30 days.
Upon receiving the reviewers’ reports, the Editor-in-Chief reviews the feedback and communicates the initial decision (acceptance, minor/major revision, or rejection) to the corresponding author.
If revisions are required, the author must revise the manuscript based on the reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised version via the journal’s submission system.
⏱ Maximum duration: 20 days.
The revised version is re-evaluated by the same reviewers or by the Editor-in-Chief to ensure that the revisions have been properly addressed.
If approved, the manuscript proceeds to the final review stage; otherwise, it may be returned for further corrections or rejected.
After revisions are approved, the manuscript is sent to a final reviewer for the last scientific evaluation before the final editorial decision.
The final decision (acceptance, request for additional revision, or rejection) is made during an Editorial Board meeting based on the reviewers’ recommendations.
If additional revisions are requested, the manuscript is returned to the author for final adjustments.
Once approved, the journal issues an official acceptance certificate and places the article in the publication queue.
The manuscript is then prepared for copyediting, typesetting, and online publication.
With the online or print publication of the article, the peer review process officially concludes.
All steps are conducted through the electronic journal management system of Farhangian University Journals.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two peer reviewers and one final reviewer.
Each review stage has a defined time limit to ensure an efficient and transparent process.
The corresponding author is notified of all decisions and review results via email and the submission system.
The Editor-in-Chief ensures fairness, transparency, and adherence to publication ethics throughout the process.
