Abstract
Background and Objectives:One of the important issues in the field of education is moral education.The purpose of this research was to investigate the level of attention paid to the indicators of moral education in Persian writing books of the first grade of elementary school.Methods: In this study,content analysis and"Shannon entropy"methods were used for data analysis.According to the nature of the subject,all Persian writing books of the first year of elementary school were selected as samples.by examining the research findings by educational science professors,the validity of the final findings was confirmed. Findings:The findings showed that,in the first elementary Persian writing book,the highest coefficient of importance is related to the religious component(0.521),and the lowest is related to the components of empathy,thinking, and reasoning(0).In the second elementary Persian writing book, the highest coefficient of importance is related to the component of good habits(0.445),and the lowest is related to the components of empathy, thinking, and reasoning(0).In the 3rd elementary Persian writing book, the highest importance coefficient is related to the component of good habits(0.433),and the lowest is related to the component of thinking and reasoning(0).Conclusion:according to the research findings;In the content of these books,less attention has been paid to some components of moral education.
