Analyzing the content of Persian reading books for the first grade of elementary school (grades 1 to 3) with regard to spiritual and moral concepts on the statement of the second step of the Islamic revolution.

Abstract

Textbooks are presented as the most common and important source of teaching process in educational system.The purpose of the research is to analyze Persian reading textbooks first grade corresponding to sixth principle and the second chapter,that is;Spirituality and morality in declaration of the second step Islamic revolution high-handed document.The research method is descriptive and includes:documentary and thematic analysis and approach is also practical and analytical.The research community includes two parts,namely;The texts related to indicators of spirituality and ethics are in statement second step and three titles Persian textbook.In content analysis,the phenomenon estimation scheme was used in data text and data is the result frequency counting.The measurement tools of questionnaire and content analysis checklist are using descriptive statistics indicators.It was found that the componentsg:spiritual and moral self-improvement,birth reasoning and thinking,faith in God,charity,helping,uniformity,empathy,patience and tolerance,courage,self-sacrifice,dedication are the most emphasized,but component Anti-cruelty and arrogance,sincerity,modesty,insight and ultimately forgiveness have been the least emphasized.The content Persian reading books of third grade had the most emphasis and the second grade had the least emphasis,and the content books had relatively good spiritual and moral capacities in accordance with the statement of second step,but it was addressed in unbalanced manner,which requires attention this is necessary in Persian textbooks.
