Abstract

Applying of ambiguous language, which is a poet's technique for interrupting the process of receiving meaning, origin from the artist's creative art and the cause of richness of the literary text, fertility of meaning and the dynamism of the reader mind. One type of artistic ambiguity is، ambiguity in the rhetorical apparatus. Between the expressive arts, simile as the basis of other rhetorical elements, the mirror of any change in literary style. Simile is the most widely used device in the Indian style, which is an ambiguous style. Kalim Kashani, one of the famous poets of the Indian style, demonstrated his skill in composing epic-historical by composing the Padshnama Masnawi about Shah Jahan's conquests. The current research aims to evaluate the quality of artistic ambiguity in the structure of the similes of this masnawi, and has used the library method to collect data and the descriptive-analytical method to analyze the data. Conclusion: It shows that the reflection of artistic ambiguity can be observed in the structure of simile, simile-like, and metaphorical similes in the Padshnama system; but the density of artistic images in the place of simile is a manifestation of Kalm's special art in reflecting ambiguity in artistic language..
