Abstract

Education is characterized by three pillars: teacher, student and textbook. The content of the textbook is considered as the main axis and a roadmap for achieving the goals of micro and macro education in any society. Among the educational levels, the elementary level as the beginning of the formation of personality and education, the most basic years of teaching and learning from the textbooks, the Persian Book, as the teacher of the mother tongue and the dominant language of our society, is the most important book. . Therefore, the main purpose of this study was to analyze the content of the first Persian and primary school books and compare these two. The method of this research is qualitative-formal content analysis and all the content (images, words, contents) of these books are considered as statistical sample and analysis unit. The results of the research showed that in both periods (preschool and primary), among the key concepts, family (family relations, its members ...) in the first rank and then, respectively, the traditions of socialization (friends, teachers, different people) ; Identification of the environment (animals, plants and other environmental elements); health and safety; and finally, safety and security behaviors have had the highest impact factor. In Bin, social skills, interpersonal relationships, respect, literacy and ethics; animal and plant care, health behaviors, and health and health related issues have been more important respectively. Among the four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening), the dominant aspect of the preschool course was to say and hear, plus a picture, but in the first year of primary, reading and writing skills have also been added. In general, there is a high degree of coordination between pre-primary and elementary one in Persian, but the neglect of modern skills such as media literacy, cyberspace, traffic traditions and urbanization is evident in both books.
